Dr. Christin Glorioso, MD PhD
Head of Research
Dr. Glorioso is a computational biologist, physician, and serial entrepreneur. She co-founded and is CEO of the non-profit science advocacy and research org, Academics for the Future of Science, the parent company of the GHRC, during her postdoc at MIT. She is a member of the international CoronaSurveys team. She earned her Phd in Neuroscience and MD from the CMU and University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine’s Medical Scientist Training Program.

Aviral Chharia
Project Manager
Aviral Chharia is an incoming CMU masters student in Mechanical Engineering. He is completing his b.s. in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science at Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, India. He was a recipient of Students Undergraduate Research Graduate Excellence (SURGE) Fellowship from IIT, Kanpur. His research interests include deep learning, computer vision, computational biology, and biomedical informatics.
Meng Liu
Data Scientist
Meng is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering at Penn State University. He received his dual-title master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research at the Penn State, and a B.S. and M.S. in Energy Systems from Wuhan University, China. He previously worked as a licensed reactor operator in a nuclear power plant for 6 years. He is currently a Research Assistant in Laboratory for Intelligent Systems and Analytics (LISA). His research applies data mining, statistical learning and optimization techniques towards topics in healthcare. Meng enjoys traveling with his friends, playing video games and basketball.
Shreyasvi Natraj
Project Lead
Shrey is a master’s student in neuroscience at the University of Geneva and is working as a technical student at CERN in the IT-DI-EFP group and under Prof. Marie Schaer’s group at NCCR Synapsy, Campus Biotech. His current projects involve using high performance computing for benchmarking several high energy physics and deep learning workloads as well as working in data science to develop deep learning systems for automated screening of neurological disorders.
Nathan Yap
Web and Software Developer
Nathan is a student at Eastlake High School in Washington State set to graduate in 2022. He has had experience working as an intern for web development, labelling tool development, and research projects for MIT-affiliated organizations and other tech startups.
Malhar Bhide
Project Manager
Malhar is an incoming freshman at the University of Indiana Urbana Champaign planning to major in Computer Science. He is currently a student at Hill Spring International School set to graduate in 2022. He has previously worked with non-profits and other organizations on different Machine Learning and Data Science projects.
